Hello,
I have an Assets object schema set up for Employees with all my employee's data.
In Jira, my employees are considered customers though. They are not licensed users. They use the Service Desk Portal only.
I would like to link these "customers" to their Employee profile in Assets so that we can track their connected issues and such.
In other words, when a customer creates an issue on the portal, I would like that be associated with their in Assets.
I do have an "affected user" field that pulls from Assets but I don't want my customers to have to select themselves from that field every time. If I could have that default to the currently logged in user/customer, that would be ideal.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a flow like this? I really like the idea of Assets but I'm struggling to truly use it in Jira and with my Service Desk Portal.
Thanks in advance for any ideas! Cheers.
