How to change the contents of the JSM "activate my account" email

In Jira Service Management, when a customer submits an email request they shortly after receive an email that looks like this:

My question is; how can I edit the contents of this email, an preferably also change the language.

Usually one can find these email templates under Project Settings ➜ Customer notifications but not for this particular email, which is strange... 🤔

There is also an email that says something along the lines of "Just confirming that we got your request. We're on it." Would also like to change that.

You can customize this...

  1. Open JSM Project Settings > Customer notifications
  2. Locate Request created and click the Edit link

I think you are right - there doesn't seem to be an option for this. There doesn't seem to be a backlog item for this either.

You can disable the initial email sent when a user registers for access (via the portal):

And you can customize the invitation email - when users are invited to join:

  • JSDCLOUD-5651 Customise the portal invitation email and verification email sent to new customers

Strange indeed.
