Hello,
We are using Insight on Jira Service Management (Data Center) and I have two object types (IP Address and Computers).
Objects inside the "Computers" object type have the attribute "IP Address" so that I can select one of the IP addresses available in the "IP Address" object type.
I would like to change the attribute "Status" of an IP Address object as "In use" when it is assigned to a computer. And that automatically, is that possible ?
Thank you,
Théo.
I dont know if it is the same in Jira DC, but in Jira Cloud you can do this with an automation.
Hello Frederic, I have indeed tried the following automation rule:
WHEN: Object updated
IF: objectType = "IP Address" AND object HAVING inboundReferences()
THEN: Attribute Value (Status > In use)
But it doesn't work.
Can someone help please?
Thank you,
Théo.
