How to add a Service Desk User, without giving them access to JIRA Software

Charlotte March 8, 2021

I am wanting to add agents to our Service Desk, without giving them access to our JIRA Software (I do not want them to see the other projects that we have in JIRA). Is this possible?

I have gone into users and revoked this access from the user I have added, but they are still able to see all projects, click on them and view the tickets inside (they are unable to comments etc). I do not want them to have any visibility over these projects.

You will have to change the permission scheme that your JSW projects are using, by default is allows any logged on user to browse projects. You should change that to at least only allow users belonging to your JSW user group to browse.

Thank you, that worked!
