How do I update from address of service desk emails?

I've added a custom email to receive service desk tickets which is working, but the initial response that is sent out gets sent from 

Customer service desk <jira@ourdomain.atlassian.net>

I've been searching on how to change that but have had no luck.

I don't think you can do this natively in JSM Cloud. However we support this in Notification Assistant for Jira
