How can I tie an email to ServiceDesk?

I would like to have a ServiceDesk ticket added to the queue when an email is sent to a shared email box in o365. Where can I find documentation for doing this

Hi David,

  1. Go to your project and project setting page
  2. Select Email Request
  3. Configure your own mail by selecting one of the mail options available there. (Username and password)

Provided Jira can reach said office365, it will be able to connect the mail as your incoming mail.

  • Avoid using shared mails since Jora will pull directly from inbox. If you must, move all other mails to a separate folder than inbox immediately they are received. Configure the rule on your mail server.
