How can I show a date and time stamp when the user raised issue?

Lydia Rogers October 21, 2020

I need to set a date and time stamp as a column for the end user to view when they raised the request so they can also track how long it is open.

Hi @Lydia Rogers

if you want to customise the fields that a customer can see on the portal (my requests) that’s unfortunately not (yet) possible.
there is a change request ongoing to allow more fields to be chosen on the portal.

Hi @Lydia Rogers

Maybe this discussion can help you https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-questions/Exact-time-a-Jira-issue-was-created/qaq-p/287924

If you want to track how long the issue was in open statuses you can try Time in Status for Jira Cloud
