I want to have a Calendar or Timeline view that would show me potential Resource Allocation overlap, for example, a developer working on two sprints at the same time? Each "Resource" in this case would also be a Jira User account.
I would recommend to go with a dashboard here where you would use the workload pie chart which is made for this particular case. Make sure that you create a filter that would contain these sprints in its JQL.
