How can I connect Service Desk with Software Board?

I am new to Jira.  I have a service desk instance, that needs to feed to a kanban board. 

(  How do I connect these two?

Unfortunately, JSM (JSD) project doesn't support Kanban board concept out of the box.  It uses the concept of QUEUES instead.  Only Jira project uses the concept of SCRUM/KANBAN boards concept.

Only if you are also using Jira in addition to JSM (JSD) in the same env, then you can try the workaorund mentioned -
