Filter showing incorrect results

I created a filter to find out pending approvals by each reviewer.

for some reason, it shows up tickets that are approved by that approver. The thing to note is that the workflow is set up for multiple people to approve simultaneously. 

Not sure if there is a bug or something off in my query. Below is the query:

project = sow AND status = "sow review" AND approvals = pendingBy(johnsmith)

The issue that you are facing is a known bug. Currently, when searching for tickets that need approval, the results will show tickets that you already approved if it also depends on the approval from another user.

• Filter Approvals = myPending() shows what is already approved when pending other approvers
