Filter by epic with a specific summary

Floreana Di Trapani June 25, 2024

Hi,

I need to filter my board by epics, whose summary starts by BGS.

I added this quick filter but it doesn't return anything, so not sure what I am doing wrong.

Anyone can give me some suggestion?

These are the filter I tried

project = "Data Platform" AND issuetype = Epic AND "Epic Name" ~ BGS

and

project = DP AND issuetype = Epic AND summary ~ "BGS"

hi @Floreana Di Trapani ,

can you try to simplify the JQL for test purposes? Please try the following- summary ~”BGS”

If that does return issues that include various types including Epics then add the issuetype back and try.

Hi @Jack Brickey

it tried what you suggested and it worked but when I added back type = Epic it doesn't return anything
