I would like to know how I can generate a filter by issue type. That is to say, When I select the issue type I only need it brings back only certain types of requirements.

@Esteban Daniel Regina , Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

When you select the Issue Type, Jira will display all Request Types associated with that Issue Type. You can't change this unless you change the reference Issue Types to the Request Types.

If you want to change the reference Issue Type, keep in mind that other changes are also applied, such as workflow and the way the fields are viewed may also have some impact.

See how to change the Issue Type of a Request Type:

- Open your project and go to Project Settings;
- Click on Request Types
- In the Request Type you want to change, click on the 3 dots located on the right and select the option: Replace with Existing
- Select the new workflow and the new issue type you want to associate with the Request Type

Hope this helps.
