Field set as optional still showing asterisk

One of the leads for a project requested I make all fields optional. I went into the field configuration for the project and set them all as optional. A couple of them were dynamic and I went into those settings and toggled them all as optional also. However, they are still showing the red asterisk and I can't move forward from the create screen (there is only one screen through the life of the ticket) with those fields blank.

Is there maybe something I might be missing to fully set them as optional?

Discovered there was a behavior under Scriptrunner options. I had to make it optional there as well.

Check the Project Field configuration scheme and ensure the field is set to optional.

Yep! I did that, but they still showed up. Turned out to be a Scriptrunner behavior I had to modify. Thank you for your help!
