Distinguish Confluence articles in Service Desk article search.

Robert Szøke March 2, 2021

Hello.

We're setting up a service desk through Jira SM Cloud, and to filter out some of the tickets that might come through we've setup a knowledge base in Confluence that are related to our products.

However, if a user searches for a word in the Help Center search, or articles shown during ticket creation (Confluence is linked to "summary" field), it's impossible to see what Confluence Space it has been taken from. Is this possible, if yes, how?

The image shows 3 results, first two are from the same Confluence page, while the last one is from a different one. The "from" line just shows what the Jira SM Project is called.

you can't tell from the portal but you can search w/in Confluence to determine.

What would be the best solution for this then?

Have a link to Confluence and have them search there?
