Good day,

How can I disable a project in JIRA so that it is not visible in the customer portal without having to delete it.

In cloud, you could:

  • Go to permissions schemes and choose the one for your project.
  • Remove Service Project Customer - Portal Access from the Browse Projects project permissions


Refresh the portal screen and it will not be accessible for the customer now.

I have removed it from here as you indicate but I still see it on the portal.

If you've removed the permission for the customer to browse, you should see the portal access restricted for the customer as the screenshot below shows. If the customer still has access, could you raise a support ticket at Atlassian Support ?
