It depends on how permissions are configured. If you have delete issues permission in the project this issue is in, open the issue and hit the ... in the top right corner and select delete. This will remove the issue for good (not only from your board, but from Jira as a whole).
If you don't have that permission, move the issue to a done status. It will automatically disappear from your board then after 2 weeks or - if you are using a scrum board - when you close the sprint.
