Deleting Jira Service Manager Product from Billing

Hi Guys,


We want to cancel the free trial and start Standard Edition as we are being limited by free trial such as Email Notifications.


Any suggestion on how to correctly do it? I'm having the idea of just delete the product on Billing  > Manage Subscriptions and subscribe to standard. But I'm afraid that it may delete our existing projects.

Hi Stephen,


Definitely do not unsubscribe from the product, as you will lose your projects. On the Manage Subscriptions page there should be a "Change" link under each product, where you should be able to change your current plan.

Yes, that makes sense. I did not proceed with it as it may delete the existing projects.


I did try the "Change" option but it seems we are automatically upgraded to Standard as we have 4 agents and will add more but still under Trial Period.


Hi Stephen,

That sounds normal, as you have exceeded the Free plan limit you are now on Standard trial. You can keep adding the necessary users and you will have to start paying once the trial ends. Sometimes the email limit does not automatically get removed when you transit from Free to Standard, you can ask Atlassian to remove it by raising them a ticket.
