Customer portal doesn't show Description of the ticket if it has had its issue type changed

I have a customer that is always raising tickets as incidences so we move them to service requests as they aren't bugs however whenever I do that they can no longer see the description they logged on the ticket when looking through the portal 

 

top images shows a ticket not moved bottom shows a ticket that's been moved and no longer has details
