Hi @SR.Harichandan , that is possible depending on the customer notification settings.
You need to enable "Customer-visible status changed" and make sure that that status is visible for your customers.

Just in case you need to send notifications to the customers on status change not via email, but directly into the customer portal, this plugin is the solution: In-App Customer Portal Notifications for Jira.
