Hello, I am trying to create a service desk with the IT ASSET free app inventory and I have difficult creating a custom field so that when I submit a ticket in Jira to be able to see the IT Asset that belong to the user who requested the ticket. I can only get a full list of all IT assets available in the inventory including the ones assigned to people or on stock. Can you please let me know if the free IT Asset app has this capability?
Thank you very much,
Eugen
Welcome to the community. Are you referring the "Assets" app tool (AKA "Assets Schema") when you mentioned the free IT assets app?
If so, please take a look at how to create custom fields sourced from your Assets schema -

Hope this helps.

Hi, thank you for your quick answer. I am talking about this app:
https://www.assetit.app/ this is free :D . Insight is not free :). would this apply to this app as well?

Unfortunately, it is not the same. You will need to contact assetit vendor in regards to their application for further assistance.

Hello @Eugen Varasteanu the documentation that Joseph provided wouldn't apply to the assetit application you mentioned above. You'd have to peruse through Assetit's documentation to figure that out.
Maybe this link will help you? https://docs.devsamurai.com/assetit/custom-fields
