Context: We currently have a platform for users to navigate directly to jira service portal to open a support ticket with us if they choose to file one on their own. The problem here is that users have an account with us and they have to create a new account or re-log in to Jira service which makes for a jarring customer support experience.
Ask: I was wondering if anyone has found any success in integrating their proprietary login details in order to quickly sign users into Jira service portal (AKA maybe an SSO integration or at least pre-filling their email from our service -> jira login)
Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!
Hey Tony,
I'm Harshit from the miniOrange Team.
Yes - An SSO integration is possible via the SAML/OAuth for JSM Customers app. Your external users will be able to directly login via SSO offering a seamless experience.
The app offers a wide range of additional features that will be beneficial for you.
We'd be happy to arrange a FREE Demo to demonstrate the capabilities of this app. Alternatively- you can reach out to us at atlassiansupport@xecurify.com for any questions you may have!
Thanks,
Harshit.
I have the same question Tony! From digging around it looks like it may not be possible without an app from the Marketplace.
I don't think the SSO feature Atlassian rolled out suits our needs :(
