Hello Atlassian community.
We have a few SLA configured for different statuses. I would like to show currently counted SLA in a queue. I know that I can't add dynamic field for a queue.
Is it possible to create a custom field which would copy current SLA value, so I could add this one custom field to a queue?
I tried using post-functions in workflows, but SLA is counted after the transition so it couldn't copy anything and because of that status change wasn't possible (internal server error showed up).
I also tried to use automation, but SLA value wasn't copied. I tried this on text custom field and date custom field. I also struggled with choosing right automation trigger to have SLA copied right away after status change.
Thank you!
Hi @Dominik Kaźmierski , welcome to the Community. I am confused by your request. Why would you want to take a snapshot of the current SLA to display in queue. In any event I do not believe it will be possible to do this. Can you explain your use case?
Hello! Thank you for your answer.
We have a few queues. Some are dedicated for apps supported by certain user groups and they have separate SLAs configured. We have also main queues with all tickets and all open tickets (without division for certain groups). In those 2 queues we would like to see current SLA assigned to the group. Currently we would have to add about 7 additional columns to those 2 queues in order to see which SLA is currently counted.

I guess I still don't quite follow why simply using the SLA as a column in your queue would not suffice or how that would be any different if using a custom field. In any event, as stated, previously, I don't see how this would be possible to achieve.
