Converting a customer account to an Atlassian account when a matching Atlassian account exists?

Hi all,

When converting a customer account to an Atlassian account, what happens if there is a matching Atlassian account already? e.g. bob.smith@example.com is listed both as a Customer and also as a JSM user?

Do the two accounts get merged?

Hi @Alec Waters 

After migrating from portal only account to Atlassian account, changes include 

1. The portal only account will be deactivated

2. important data eg requests raised gets migrated to the Atlassian account

3. Gets Customer product role
