Can you scrape an email and create an issue in JIRA, then comment in that issue and trigger a reply email to the same email thread?

What exactly is your goal? I mean, isn't the built-in JSM email handler enough? In addition there are other email handlers for jira which you can use.
I'm new to JIRA. But am looking for help in setting up the JSM email handler, so comments will trigger replies to emails.
