Comment in Service desk portal disappears when switching tabs/windows

Me and some of our customers are experiencing an issue with Service desk portal. I also have it with the tickets I reported to other company. Both are on Jira Cloud.

Steps to reproduce:

  • open a ticket in the portal
  • write a comment, but not send it yet
  • switch browser tab or window or minimize the window
  • come back to the tab/window with the ticket and the comment is gone

I clicked Ctrl + Z a couple of times and the comment comes back, but it's not very convenient.

Does anyone else experience the same?

It looks like some current bug, I have the same experience from 3 different Jira instances.

Hi All,

Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We have identified this behavior and have already involved our internal Development team, providing them with the impact of this issue.

They are currently working on this and will update the BUG ticket with the findings and resolution. I will be adding this post as a reference for the above bug ticket. I also encourage you to add yourself as a watcher to see the state of the bug moving forward.
