We are setting up our Jira environment and for our service request approval system ideally we would have a double cascading select list where in the first field you select a department and the second field would get populated by options of approvers from the selected department.
Looking up on Google and discussion threads within the community didn't give many results for this.
From what I understand Jira does not support this out of the box. I have seen other threads hint at automation in similar but not quite the same situations. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to set this up?
