Can you lock an Asset Object Field/Attribute?

Okay so I have a field say "Serial" and its pre-populated via an automation.

I do not want any users updating this field except via automation (and I guess admin if possible but not required).

Is there anyway I can lock this field/Attribute?

Hi @Calvin 

I am afraid not. There is no such a granular level of control of object types at this stage. Or if you want, you can raise a support ticket for raising a feature request to the team for their further consideration.
