Can't pick assets as a customer

Hello everyone,

I have noticed that we can no longer select assets in the JSM portal - at least it no longer works for customers.

Does anyone else have this problem and can help me?
JSM version 5.12.1 on DC

The setting is activated in the asset schema, but it looks different in the portal.

Hi @Simon,

I don't have a DC instance at my disposal to test, but there's only 2 possible things I can think of:

  • check permissions on your Assets scheme and the separate object type(s) you're using behind your custom fields to ensure they are not restricted to internal users.
  • I have a vague memory that in the config of your Asset custom fields you could specify that your fields should be enabled for JSM. Have a look at the custom field context and assets configuration more specifically

We have checked everything again and also tested your ideas and were unable to rectify the error.

Do you have any other ideas or is this a bug in version JSM 5.12.1?
