I created a service desk for my co-workers if they need IT help. But i can't find the function that makes it able to connect the issue or problem to a EPIC of a poject. Does anyone know how this works?

When using both Jira Software and Service Management, it’s possible to link issues from one project to another.
Please, go to an Epic and check if it shows the option Link issue. Then, click on it and search for the Service Management ticket.
If the option is not available, as a Jira administrator, go to Cog icon > Issues > Issue linking to confirm if the feature is active.
