I'm testing out Jira Service Management, and I'd like to know if it's possible to communicate with relevant parties within a specific service ticket. For example, if I'm the Assignee on an open ticket, can I email the Reporter about the ticket and vice versa?

Of course! Simply @ them in the Comments and they will get an email. If they reply directly to the email, it should add a comment to the ticket.
Thanks John. I thought that's what should happen but the recipients didn't get the email. Maybe I have something else configured incorrectly.
