Can JSM grab contact data from CAS when external pers. raises a request in service deck via Email?

I am wondering about this scenario: Raising request in service desk via E-Mail. Can JSM grab contact information from CAS (Content-addressable storage) and fill the fields such as Name, Company Name, Phone number? Of course having in mind that fields in CAS are not empty.
