Can I have two distinct channels for Service Management?

Hi,

I am curious if I can have...essentially two versions of the Service Management URL?

I have two different customer bases, of which I would like two different Knowledge Bases (Self Help) for each of them.

Is this possible?

Thanks

Todd

Hi Todd,

If you want 2 different knowledge bases and separate them based on the users/ customer base you will need to create 2 Jira Service Managament projects and 2 different Confluence knowledge base spaces.

At the Jira project level you can define which groups of users can access the portal as a customer. If a user group does not have permissions to access the portal they will never see it or the knowledge base linked to it.

The URL's to the portals will also be slightly different. They will have another ID the url.
But both portals will always use the same subdomain: <your-tenant>.atlassian.net

Hi Charlie,

Yes!  Thank you that makes total sense.

Todd
