I want to change the status or component of any values to a ticket without actually opening it. Can I do it while looking at the queues? example, you click on project, you see all tickets in a list with certain components like Key, description, status, date, label etc listed in from of them. I want to edit the status or label in the queue itself rather than opening every ticket to do it.
Hi @Yanko Chakarov ,
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
In order to approve or decline a request, it's necessary to do it via the Buttons that appear on the ticket, so it won't be possible to change the status via the Queue.
What will trigger the status change is the Approve or Decline buttons, so it's necessary to access the ticket in order to do that.

Angélica
Hello Jaspreet,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
The queues in Service Desk provides a quick view of the issues based on a JQL and in order to edit the fields for a ticket, it's necessary to view it.
In May this year, it was rolled out the ability to assign and to transition issues, so you can just click on these fields to edit, but currently, it's the only fields we can edit without viewing the ticket.
The workaround to edit other fields is to search for the tickets on Issues and Filters > Search issues. In this view, the last column is always the … where you can see a lot of options to edit the ticket.
We have a new feature request suggesting the ability to edit issues when using queues:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.
Regards,
Angélica

Hi guys,
Can you approve tickets from the queue?
I currently see this:
But I am not able to see settings for such permission.
Can you please guide me (if this is possible at all)?
Thank you.
