When a user wants to search for a specific problem in the customer portal, he/she rarely knows exactly the wording of the problem. Thus it would be a benefit to us if the default search was "fuzzy" because our customers would not do this themselves.
Dear Henning,
I'm afraid I do not know of a way to achieve this. If I understood you correctly you would like your users to find "document" when typing "doc" into the search.
Please check out these requests. If this matches your requirement please vote for these issues.

Or do you really relate to fuzzy search as described in this article and you would like to spare your users to use "~" in their searches?

Kind regards,

Exactly like the last part of your comment. I believe many of many customers doesn't know how to type ~. And also doesn't want to bother with writing that
