CSV export is not exporting comment field form Jira server

Hi,

 

I am doing the CSV export of issues in the Jira server 6.4.14 version where I am not able to see the CSV export option, but I can see the excel export option, and also when I export the issues with Excel(All fields) I am not able to see comment field in exported excel sheet.

Is this because the older version of the Jira server is not exporting the comment field?

Hi @Kavya Janiwarad 

Jira doesn't export comments to csv/excel. There is a request JRACLOUD-39048. Please watch and vote it. Also, there are some paid solutions in the marketplace. One of them is listed in the ticket's comment.

I can see the comments are exported when exported from the Jira server version 8.13.
