Block Portal users for sending messages after a ticket got closed

hristo.iliev March 5, 2021

Hello,

I've got a request to block Portal reporters for updating tickets opened by them which are already with status "resolved". Is that possible?

Thanks in advance

Regards

Hristo

For a classic project, yes, this is easy - add a workflow property to the status of "resolved" in your workflow.  https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/use-workflow-properties/ covers this, but the one to look for is jira.issue.editable  You probably want to look at the workflow transitions and conditions as well, if you want to stop people reopening issues.

Hi @hristo.iliev

You can look into automation for jira to ensure that tickets resolved stays resolved.
