Automation rule is not working.

Sai krishna reddy ch December 2, 2022

I have created an automation rule.

When an issue was created.

Priority Equals to Urgent

Then Send an mail to the receipts.

But the rule is not working. I am not sure about the reason.

In my project priority is an custom filed and that field in this project using contexts and default values that may be the reason mail is not triggering I am not sure.

Some one can help on this really appreciate.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Sai krishna reddy ch and welcome to the community!

Can you please share a screen shot of one of the failed executions from the audit log?

Hi @Mark Segall

Thanks for the quick comeback I have sorted out that thing by using JQL now rule is working fine.

We have received the mails from Jira automation.

But again we are stucked of the content mail

Below is the content of the mail we have used in rule!

Screenshot_20221202_215542.pngIn mail we are not receiving the field value of Business reason for the urgency.  Please refer below snap.

Please note - We are using the extension plugin for the better customer experience by using dynamic forms

In here Business reason for the urgency custom filed have certain condition & validators via extension plugin

Any help is useful.

Final goal is the Business reason for the urgency field value in the automation mail & Customer form as well.

Cheers,

Sai.

Is "Business reason for the urgency" listed in your custom fields?
