I would like the customer email to transition the issue from status "Closed" or "Resolved" to "Open". Since the active workflow did not enable to add a new transition out from status "Closed", I had to create a new workflow and activate that for the project. Here are the transition properties:
As a next step I created an automation rule for the transition. The automation rule doesn't work. The error is following: Transition issue. Destination status could not be resolved. If using a smart-value ensure this resolves to a numeric status ID or untranslated name for issues (with current status):HPC-2953 (Resolved - 5). Below a print screen:
