As the IT team, we use Jira Assets to manage all IT assets, including software licenses used within the company. We track the total number of each license in Jira Assets. Additionally, all software and programs managed or used within the company are added to a custom asset field named "Services," which is linked to the "Access Request" request type.
For example, when employees need to request an Adobe license, they open a Jira issue/ticket under the Access Request type and select the relevant software (in this case, Adobe) from the Services list. After fulfilling the request and assigning the license, we close the ticket.
Our goal is that when we close the ticket, the attribute value that tracks the number of licenses in Jira Assets (the "Number of Licenses" attribute) automatically decreases by 1. This should apply to all software licenses tracked in Jira Assets. Can you explain how to create the automation rule required for forming this structure?
