Automated way to clone or move an issue from JSD to JIRA Software on different JIRA Core instances

We have separate instances of JSD & JIRA Software that use separate JIRA Core instances.  We were hoping to use the move capability in the tool but that is not available being on separate JIRA Core instances.   Is there a way to automate a move or clone of an issue across these 2 instances and link them?

Hey Suzanne,

There are different marketplace apps that provide capabilities like this.

Elements Copy & Sync

Exalate

Backbone issue sync

...

Hope this helps,

Laurens

Thanks for the recommendation @Laurens Coppens

@Suzanne AdamsYou can use Elements Copy & Sync to create clones on remote instances and link them (and even synchronize changes between the original and the clone).

Check out our documentation on remote instances or the step by step on how to create a remote issue.

And if you have any difficulty testing your use case, don't hesitate to contact our support team.
