Adding/ Managing Service Desk Project Customers using G Suite

Hello,

I am wondering if I can connect my organization's Gsuite to JIRA to automatically add in my company's user base as Service Desk Customers

Was going to follow this document: https://support.atlassian.com/provisioning-users/docs/connect-to-g-suite/

Note - I would need the users to be customers and not agents or other license consuming users.

Is this possible?
