Hoping someone can help or point me in the right direction. We have a request to build an API integration between Jira Service Management and CredentialStream (company is HealthStream). I think what we're wanting to do is once provider information is entered into CredentialStream, it automatically creates an onboarding ticket in our Service Desk project.
Does anyone have experience with this specific integration and/or any helpful information as we start to go down this path? Or, are all Jira API integrations essentially built out the same way?

Jira provides REST API interface functionality out of the box. All you need to do is design a trigger condition in HealthStream and deliver the required payload to Jira to create an issue. If you need more information. Below is the snippet I simulated via postman.
