workflow - post functions - request participants

I have a workflow that I would like to set a post function to automatically add someone to the "request participants".

I tried both the "user@email.com" route and the JIRA user "first last".  Both resulted in nothing added to the "request participants" when the workflow transition was executed.

Try with the JIRA username. The field customer request participiants is a multi user picker.

Few weeks ago i played a little bit an to put our existing Cc field into the new one and copy field value from script runner works. So i think it must also work from your post function when you use the username.
