Hi, sort of asked this question before but struggled with the response I got so thought I would try again. We are looking to implement JIra service desk and it all looks good apart from I cant find a solution to the following. How do you capture and sent the customer name, contact telephone number etc. When the ticket comes in you have the reporter but this is a name and would like to know the customer, any help would be appreciated. We are using the cloud version.
I don't have an answer for you, however, I am interested in the outcome. One thing that we have added to our system that may work (testing to verify) is the CRM module in the martketplace. this was installed today so I don't have any insight yet.
I beleive that the reporter would then be tied to your CRM database in Jira. Let me know if you find out anything and I will do the same.
