is it possible to create a subtask via jira service desk?

I'm testing a JIRA project with subtask issue types, the project is setup to use JIRA service desk for users.

when I tried to create customer portal for the issue types within the service desk, I could not find subtask issue types, is it possible to create a subtask via jira service desk? Thanks

No. The Service desk portal can only create Parent issues, sub tasks have to be created by a Service Desk Agent.
