how to send email for s group

I'm new to Jira and looking for solution for follow.

If newly created ticket having a component of XXX   i need to send email to particular group.

first attempt

i created Automation (Custom rule) but i cannot select that group.

second attempt

I try with notifications but their is no place to add condition ( to check component is XXX)


please guide me how can I achieve this task

here is a recent thread that may give you some pointers. While the reason for sending an email to a group is different the underlying discussion about how to do this should apply here. If it doesn't help please let me know. Long story short there are limitations for sending an email to a group natively.

Hi Kalpa,

In Jira Notifications (not JSD Notifications), you can send to "Component Lead" on creation.  However you may need to create a user with a distribution list as it only accepts single users for Component leads.
