A customer files a request on the hosted solution and they want to go back in and edit the request. How can this be enabled?

You can't grant customers permissions to edit their own requests. They only have the option to comment or add attachments. If they need to edit their request, they can add a comment to the agent and he can do it on their behalf.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
