create subtasks if specific subtask complete

forlooper December 27, 2016

When an issue is created, I have multiple subtasks automatically created.
When a specific subtask with a static summary is complete, i want to create more subtasks automatically.
How can i test for that specific ticket to be closed to spawn the rest of the subtasks?

Also, how to make the options chosen from the customer channel form as triggers to create specific subtasks?

Thanks @Jamie Echlin [Adaptavist]

options chosen fromcustomer channel as a trigger to create subtasks:
when a customer fills out the form in the portal, if they check a certain checkbox, we want that checkbox to activate a subtask being created in that master issue

You need to put a listener on the subtask type, or on the subtask workflow at whatever point "Complete" is.

Then just check the summary for your special string, if it matches, create more subtasks.

Not sure what you mean by this.
