it is very tedious if they have to be deleted and recreated.

Hi Jeannette. 

We released this feature as a part of the Enhancer for Jira Service Desk. This is a new app on the Marketplace with bunch of useful features. One of them is rename of SLA metrics.

The default metric can't be renamed but you can for the news

how do you rename new metrics? I have created 3 and I can't seem to rename them.
