By default, emails to users come from jira@myaddress.atlassian.net. can I make notifications and comments come from email support@mydomain.com
Yes, it's possible to use custom emails for outgoing notifications in Jira. Please refer below document.

find Notifications section and click on the pencil beside the email

there are settings Details, Internal access, R equest types, Channels, Customer notifications, Language support, Knowledge base, Automation, SLAs and Customer satisfaction, but don't Summary.

ok. so you are on a Next-gen JSD project. I don't have any first-hand experience w/ but did have a quick look at a test project and did not see any immediate solution for this. I expect it is not possible but can't not speak definitively.
